Irrigation Sprinkler Program
This program is offered in conjunction with local participating irrigation equipment dealers to encourage agricultural irrigators to replace old, depleted or inefficient line equipment with parts and equipment that will reduce electricity and water use. Rebates are offered for sprinkler regulator and birdie upgrades, as well as brass bird rebuilds, gasket replacement, and other hand line and wheel line parts.
Other programs offered through the irrigation program include irrigation system testing, pump upgrades, and variable frequency drive installations; rebates vary according to project size and per kWh savings. You can download a PDF rebate form here.
Ag-Related Lighting Retrofits
This program replaces existing fluorescent light fixtures with more energy efficient options in ag shops and dairy-related facilities. Primarily, T-12 lamp fixtures and magnetic ballasts are replaced with T-8, T-5 lamps, and LED fixtures. Rebates can be as high as 50% of the total labor and material cost.
