Veterans Volunteers In Partnership (Veterans VIP) Program
Nevada Rural Counties RSVP Program Inc. expanded its services to include a dedicated Veteran’s program to help make a difference in the lives of the Veterans we serve. We offer support and assistance to our Veterans in need, and we recruit Veterans to volunteer to help other seniors and Veterans. Additionally, RSVP assists Veterans by providing suicide prevention and awareness resources.
To Our Veterans:
We want Veterans to know that there is help. We honor your service and have trained volunteers who can lead you to the resources you need and answer questions related to:
- Veterans' benefits and eligibility
- Help with paperwork
- Referrals for housing, employment, suicide prevention and awareness, and other issues
- Continuing your education
- Volunteer opportunities
RSVP’s direct service programs allow Veteran seniors the support to remain in their own homes independently. This is made possible with the help of our trained volunteers.
Programs include:
- Transportation
- Home Companion
- RSVP’s CARE Law Program
- Respite Care
- Phillips Lifeline and Freedom Alert
- Homemaker Services
- RSVP’s Farmer’s Market Coupons
- Resistance Exercise Program
RSVP’s Veterans VIP Program is a collaboration with numerous groups dedicated to assisting Veterans.
